A revolving tube center is a live center designed specifically to support pipes, tubes and other hollow components in the lathe tailstock. It features an enlarged, tubular or conical nose that contacts the workpiece over a broader area, preventing distortion of thinwalled material while still providing accurate, concentric support. The body is manufactured from hardened and ground alloy steel, fitted with preloaded precision bearings for smooth rotation and high load capacity at typical lathe speeds.
